The Fourth International Workshop on Boolean Functions and Their Applications (BFA-2019) took place at the Villa Finaly in Florence, Italy between June 16 and June 21, 2019., and was held in honor of Prof. Claude Carlet’s 70-th birthday.

New career program at UiB

The Trond Mohn Foundation (TMS) and UiB have recruited 39 young outstanding researchers through the TMS Starting Grant scholarship scheme. Now the recipients of the scholarship are given extra follow-up through a new career program at the university.
PhD students receive travel grants
on 
Diana Davidova, Nikolay Kaleyski, Irene Villa and Dan Zhang, PhD students from the Boolean Functions Team, have been awarded Meltzer travel grants for research visits. Davidova, Kaleyski and Villa will use their grants for the purpose of visiting prof. Claude Carlet at the University of Paris VIII in May 2019, and Zhang will use her grant for a research visit to the University of Waterloo.
