Professor Yuri Movsisyan received a B.Sc. degree from Yerevan State University and a continued his education at Kishinev State Univeristy, obtaining a PhD there in 1974. He is a professor at Yerevan State University since 1992, and serves as honorary head of chair of Algebra and Geometry there.
He is interested in a number of topics related to algebra and logic, including universal algebras, hyperidentities and hypervarieties in algebras, lattices, bilattices, Boolean and DeMorgan algebras, quasigroups and loops, functions equations, second-order and non-classical logic, and Boolean and DeMorgan functions. Yuri Movsisyan is a consultant at the Boolean Functions team at UiB since 2018. |
